The ice storm hit Thursday night, and by Friday, everything was coated in ice. Most northeastern states were affected, like Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Pennsylvania, but New York, particularly in the area around Albany where I live, appears to have been hit the hardest. There's at least a half inch of ice ceating everything, including power lines, and in a lot of places, the ice can be up to an inch thick.
I was driving around this afternoon examining the damage, when I realized that although it was quite destructive, the ice was rather pretty, particularly in the sunlight. Upcoming pictures are the result of that drive.
I hope everyone is well, and that you're all enjoying your holiday season!
